A couple o'bugs, but a really great game

Graphics and sound weren't really my thing, but it's the gameplay that counts. And the gameplay -except for the infinite lives- is great.

Ka-ching, you're dead...

This is a really, really good game. Okay, the story is just an excuse to start fighting, and -except for the slicing them in half thing- the enemies don't have many ways to die. Also, holding down [S] and tapping [Down] fast, takes much of the fun out of the game.
But you know? I don't care, this game is awesome :D

It's a nice game...

...but it's not too original though. But I like it nonetheless.
But you have infinite lives (it doesn't sstop at 0, or at -7 for that matter).
So there are two points that could use improvement: The life counter, and the graphics (those were too standard).

It's okay...

But it's not great. It's your average shooter, with one standard weapon, one (limited) big weapon, and a few enemies that block the road (a little).
It's main problems are the sounds (a bit irritating after a while), and that it takes too long for the enemies to come at you at a normal pace (that would be like the speed at 5/6 th of the tree).

For inspiration on improvements, look closely at how RaidenX, or some of the other good shooters work.

I like these kind of games, so please make this another good one : P

Thou hast created a good game...

There are two things certain in life: taxes and axes.
This game is really good, with only two things bothering me.
The first thins is that the graphics are automatically set to low, the second thing is that by level three, you already have the spiky-horror thing and all bottles of good stuff.
Whatever.
It's too funny to be bothered by those things.

Enter area, kill enemies, enter area, kill enemies

You get it, it's a bit boring after a while. Untill you challenge the wizard, who is cool (in his own way), but until you're there, it's all about the same. That you can change your stats unlimitedly makes it a bit unchallenging too. Tip: keep ramming that spacebar.

Except for the gameplay, the whole game is great. Really. So if part two has more variation, and different challenges, it will be one of the best.

Aargh...oooow...aargh. I like the sounds of battle

This is a nice game, especiallythe constant screams of men dying gives it a nice touch, as well as the number of troops on the screen.
Maybe you should work on the figures themselves, as they don't really look as though they were from Lord of the Rings. The same goes a bit for the backgrounds and the interface. As a game, this is a good one (maybe a bit easy), and I'm waiting for part two.

Really challenging, I needed more time.

So, this is a really challenging game. At first I thought, this is okay, seems logical. I did combinations of shapes, one-two-three. Then I ran out of them, and thought this might be an error in the programming. So I just experimented with combinations. And id really paid off! Now that's the best thing any puzzle game could possibly have: When players experiment, get rewarded, and actually learn from it. For that, I should give it a ten out of ten. My mayor point of criticism is that there is just too little time in Arcade. You might adjust the graphics, add a bit of music, okay, and give a little more explanation of how it works, but that's all you have to do. Great job!

All those good memories come back again...

I spent way too many days playing these kind of games during their time (They're not dead yet!).
This game combines most of my wonderful memories of those times.
Tell me you are going to keep on making these...

Yes, I'm starting on the new one now. =D Thanks for reviewing.

Be sure to have a good time, ok?
